What's New in v1.0.57

Picture-in-Picture (PiP)

Auto-enters PiP mode when pressing home button during video playback. Manual PiP button also available in landscape controls.

Playback Speed Control

Adjust playback speed from 0.5x to 2.0x. Tap the speed button in landscape controls to open the speed selector.

Gesture Controls

Swipe vertically on the video player:

• Left side: Adjust screen brightness
• Right side: Adjust volume
• Visual indicators show current levels

Repeat Mode

Cycle through repeat modes (OFF → ALL → ONE) with the new repeat button in landscape controls.

Quality Selection in Player

Tap the settings (gear) icon in landscape controls to switch video quality without leaving fullscreen.

Subtitle Support (Foundation)

Backend support added for extracting YouTube captions via NewPipe.

Technical Details

• All gesture controls work in both portrait and landscape orientations
• PiP requires Android 8.0 (API 26) or higher
• Controls automatically hide when in PiP mode
